Welcome to Grand View!
A Brief History

Grand View Academy is a school for the gifted. It resides inside a small town of gifted individuals who have been able to mask its presence for years. The community's moral has only just started returning to normal after the recent passing of Grand View's last headmaster, George Anderson. The son of the last headmaster, John Anderson, now steps up to take on the responsibilities.

R.I.P. George Walter Anderson
Headmaster and Father
March 20, 1950 - May 26, 2009

Will everything return to the way it was with the student's normal studies? Will everyone be able to let it go and continue their lives? Or is their a dark presence that may be rising up from under the radar?

Preston, our Admin who created most of the site, it was all his idea for the whole shindig! Ri did most of the coding. Also some in depth things around for Grand View Academy. Sarah , the third staff member did more help than most. Sarah and Ri put together the canon list. So please use it according if you would like to use it please pm Ri or Sarah and you maybe get the permission to use the code. But please do not steal anything, is all copy right to the staff members. If they see anything hacked, stolen there will be hell to pay. Thank you and have a nice day!
Codes from proboards;provision
as well as a few others I think we forgot.

[ ]Residential District (3 sub-boards)
The residential district of Grand View has all types of homes, ranging from apartments, condos, houses, and even large estates. The further away from the academy, the larger the homes.

After your character registration is completed and accepted, your home will be available in this board.

[ ]Eating Out (5 sub-boards)
Grand View is a lot bigger than most would think, and it houses many restaurants throughout it. They all range from your typical american restaurants serving cheeseburgers, to mexican, italian, and even chinese. It's amazing how the place grew.

[ ]Grand Street (4 sub-boards)
This is the main street of Grand View, commonly known as Grand Street. Here you will find all sorts of things to entertain you. You'll find places to shop, places to watch the latest movies, the venue to listen to live concerts, and for our older members, we have a bar. Enjoy.

[ ]Grand View Hospital
The hospital of Grand View is highly recognized for its outstanding employees who are exceptionally in the medical field. Some work here who have powers to heal, others have degrees in medicine and just have a passion to help others. This is the place to be if severly injured, or if you just become ill.

[ ]The Surrounding Woods
Because of Grand View's secret it holds, Grand View is not located inside of a large well known city. Of course it has its own community, but surrounding Grand View are miles and miles of woods. Students are advised not to wander too far.
00
[ ]Cemetary
This is where you will find the grave stones of members of the Grand View community who have passed away. The place is kept quite clean, and it's actually not as creepy as some would think... unless its a moonless night, then it just can't be helped.
00
[ ]All the Other Places of the World
Just because Grand View is the sanctuary for the gifted, does not mean that the gifted always stay in the confinements of Grand View. Some gifted individuals after gradutating enjoy travelling or attending colleges away from Grand View. The rest of the world has so much to offer, but Grand View does advise to be cautious when roaming.

Grand View Academy
[ ]Basement Level (6 sub-boards)
The large area below the school houses the arena and gym. It is brightly lit as opposed to what most would think of it as. The arena is used in certain classes, and can also be used for sparring so people may hone their skills closer to perfection. Once a year, a tournament is held down within the basement. There are also other rooms down here that are thought to not be used anymore.

[ ]Ground Level (4 sub-boards)
This is the main floor of the academy and home to the teacher's lounge and their personal offices. You may also find the cafeteria here, which is quite beyond the expectations of most cafeterias people are used to. Near the back of the academy on this level you can find yourself in the enormous library which should accomodate to anyone's reading necessities.
00
[ ]Second Level (4 sub-boards)
The second level of the academy is home to your normal everyday classes, such as the wonderful english, math, science, and history departments. They may not be the most enjoyable classes, but none the less, students are required to obtain their specific credits.
00
[ ]Third Level (2 sub-boards)
The third level is where you will find your special classes. These include classes that specialize in your abilities, such as element manipulation, telekinesis, and much more. It's quite apparent that students are much more enthusiastic to attend these classes than those of the second floor.
00
[ ]Fourth Floor (2 sub-boards)
The large office that is home to the headmaster is located on the fourth level of the academy. Student's are more than welcome to enter the headmaster's office for any help they may need. The fourth floor also includes the school archives that are accessible to teachers.

[ ]House Mars (2 sub-boards)
Members here are often infatuated with Aeropostale and concussions. Most people call them the jocks and preps. If you're looking for a tutor, good luck, but if want information on the latest fashions and who's skull has the most dents, you're in the right place.
00
[ ]House Minerva (2 sub-boards)
Hey! Look! A fight! Oh! Another one! That's the common things you hear being shouted throughout House Minerva. Simply put, members are known to be brawlers. If you think it's because they hate each other, you're wrong. Apparently it's a bit of a bonding ritual in Minerva to cause bloody noses.
00
[ ]House Aesculapius (2 sub-boards)
Just because these may be the ones who are playing D&D, doesn't mean you should pick on them. They may be nerds now, but later they will probably be your boss in the future. So just think twice.
00
[ ]House Fides (2 sub-boards)
This house is known to be very quiet. The members are not very outspoken at all. They will converse, but not too much. They often enjoy keeping to themselves. Is it because they are just shy... or is maybe because they are plotting something agaisnt the world!? Nah. Not the quiet kids.
